The disappointing part is "Platinum Pass Passport eVoucher must be redeemed at SeaWorld San Antonio for first use before using at other included parks." That is language that I did not see in the Sesame Place, BGT, BGW pass conditions, so a trip out to Texas would have to happen first. Though I have to wonder if this is old leftover language from the old passes that just got left behind on that page since it specifically refers to it as a "Platinum Passport." Season Passports are actually a really old BEC pass descriptions that I don't think have been used in the chain since they retired the "Worlds of Busch Gardens Europe" and "World of Busch Gardens Africa" names along with the "Worlds of Discovery" brand.

That is also the language that was on my premium membership that was activated at SWO earlier this year. I think it's yet another area where they say one thing but often do another. I'll be attempting to activate this tomorrow at SWO.

I look forward to hearing if it will work or not. I'm seriously considering switching to SWSA Platinum if I can activate it in Williamsburg.

The passes worked just fine at SWO. I did have trouble getting them printed at the ticket window, but the voucher scanned fine at the gate and when I went to get the plastic card from guest services that worked fine too. Yay for $10/mo platinum

Have you tried to use it for any other benefits? What percentage discount did you get off of food and merchandise? SWSA advertises 20% off, I am wondering if that translates to 20% off at SWO or maybe BGW or just the basic 10% off.

Oh wow. That is a huge plus. This is looking like a better and better deal...

Keep us updated if you wouldn't mind @sunchild! This is excellent, facinating information.

We may put together a spreadsheet with each type of pass and which specific perks have been granted at each park based on user reports...

Very nice. I believe the preferred parking is listed as a home park benefit only, so its good to hear this is still happening.

So the only 'down' sides may be the park specific benefits (e.g. monthly specials/members 'only' events and free/bonus tickets. Though you should still get a discount on guest tickets at any park. It is a big savings if you don't bring guests or care about the little monthly 'extras'.

With this pass structure, what is the "Free" Animal Experience, I am getting conflicting stories about what is and is not even from the park.
