Just announced that Worlds of Fun has announced a change in park leadership. Tony Carovillano is out as GM and has been sent back to Kings Island as VP of operations. Former VP of Merchandise and games at Knotts has been promoted to VP/GM of Worlds of Fun.
I’ve been filled in on the details of this from a good friend in salaried management at the park and apparently this move for Tony was less of a planned move and more of a demotion from corporate leadership due to many issues behind the scenes.
