SeaWorld Orlando to host ‘Flicks & Fireworks’ event

SeaWorld Orlando will soon transform its parking lot into a drive-in movie theatre for guests to enjoy beginning this weekend.

I think BGW could do something like this, but better. They could play some of their old stuff like Haunts of the Old Country, Pirates, etc. Additionally, they could play things like Questor in between the movies.

For food, they could set up trucks that serve park favorites and have merch stands set up.

I’m not mad at the price to be honest. $50 ($40 for pass members) for a full family to go see some fireworks and a movie doesn’t feel that bad to me.

I wonder what kind of fireworks they’re going to show, and how guests are going to hear the audio. If they told you to tune your car radio to a certain station to hear the Electric Ocean: Ignite! soundtrack, that would be pretty cool.

They showed The Princess Bride at a parking lot in Arlington recently for $40 a car and sold out. I thought the price was crazy too, but apparently there’s a market for this.
