I have seen this show nearing 100 times. I never witnessed any of this. From the trainers I have spoke to and one that I know they all know and understand the risks and are more than willing to accept them. Performing with these magnificent mammals are their passion and what they live to do. The risks are no different than that of a racecar driver or professional skydiver. Why are there not sanctions preventing those professions from functioning as designed? Or any of the nature guys on TV.
