I think the Muppets going to Rock-N-Rollercoaster is a mistake.

Now put them in the Hall of Presidents with a new show, that would make sense.
or put muppets in the villains show building and that would make more sense, replacing hall of presidents with muppets would more people to be upset with it (more so than the retheme of splash mountain to princess and the frog)

Jim Hill on his series of podcasts recently was asked what attractions he feel wont be there in 10 years and when they got to MK and Epcot, he specifically mentioned Hall of Presidents and American Adventure. For Hall of Presidents I assume its not the nature of politics as much as every 4 years or so they have to add another animatronic which has a high cost at the same time the audience for the ride is not a lot to justify to keep doing that. American Adventure in the same sense, but there was more an emphasis that its been the same show for 40+ years now with no changes and just feels they can do more, but doing more is going to dramatically change what is there.

Off topic but if they get rid of Hall of Presidents that would be insane. Certain old Disney things are institutional and shall not be removed, it ain't right.

Definitely agree, but we need this same energy for American Adventure too. It's so horribly underappreciated and, in my opinion, better than Hall. Both of these shows should be untouchable.

Muppet*Vision shoulda been saved, but rehousing the Muppets by destroying another cornerstone of WDW shouldn't be viewed as a reasonable solution IMO.

And yes, I know and agree that, currently, Hall, in particular, is a pain in Disney's side due to the political climate, but we have to believe that problem is temporary because, if it isn't, long-term, it likely won't matter what animatronic shows do or don't exist at WDW anymore.

Anyway, the perfect Muppet*Vision 2 solution already exists—it's making a new Muppets Courtyard at the end of Sunset Boulevard with Electric Mayhem Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Muppet*Vision in Sunset Showcase.

Except, in our current political climate they need to have security posted inside the theater all the time, and people have no respect for it and cause problems. It has become an ongoing issue. The Muppets are non controversial in comparison.

A photo was posted today on social media by one of the Disney fan sites showing yellow tags on the Miss Piggy fountain and several of the figures in it marking them as being saved for the Disney Archives.

or replace hall of presidents with a ride based on this:

I mean, disney owns this movie now because they bought fox and its has the involvement of Tim Burton and you can keep the presidental part of the attraction
