Time wise, we’re in a period where the big maintenance and replacement bills from the ride wars in the 90s and early 2000s are coming due. It’s going to be challenging in places where the ride volume just way outpaced growth. Having to both maintain big, older rides, while putting out new attractions is a tough balance in any park that doesn’t regularly fill up.

Six Flags is is deep trouble. The CEO already chased off about 25% of their customer base with his pricing fiasco. Mass rally Ride removal with no significant replacements will only further deteriorate the customer base.

Plus the parks are rather trashy ti begin with.

Not to worry. Running off customers by charging better-park prices for a bleh-park experience and a narrowing range of attractions is all part of the plan.

Last july they were only running 2 of those. My guess its the only 2 that worked.

Removing from website doesn't necessarily mean permanently closed except in the cases that was confirmed. The SFA stuff listed is all in Coyote Creek. My hope is this is for a refurbishment of the area and its rides, but we shall see. I can't imagine the are simply closing an entire section of the park for good, though.
