There’s nothing I love seeing more in the industry than someone who’s genuinely passionate about a park’s craft, and a park that lets him do what he wants with it.
Absolutely wonderful to see the unsung heroes get some recognition. Monster Mansion is one of the true miracles of modern theme parks, a slow-moving old-school boat dark ride in a regional park (at a Six Flags no less!). I'm not sure how it keeps existing but I love seeing that people like Mark, his team, and apparently the local park management understand how much this attraction means to generations of guests.
This is one of the best videos I've seen showing off the revised Monster Mansion. I think my favorite things are 1)newly built Okefenokee type Crow with the reanimated Statue in the Graveyard 2)Chili Monster got new fire effects 3)Scary, hellish Boggy Boy rises out of the Marsh again. 4)Marsh Monsters can now be seen in detail 5)Mizzy Scarlett back to her original look . All the monsters seem to be maintained now. For decades, they were not.
Astonishing that a Six Flags park is taking better care of a dark ride than modern Disney.
I had heard that more Okefenokee Easter Eggs were considered.
For those who dont know, this is the best ride at Over Georgia. For those who don't agree, you're wrong plain and simple lol
Got four rides on this masterpiece today. First time at the park. Can't believe this is the best ride in a park with a top 3 B&M hyper and an RMC in it but it certainly is and honestly it's not too close either.
I'm so excited to get my first ride on this tomorrow! I've heard nothing but good things and I have to say I'm nearly if not more excited about this ride then AF1.
I got six rides in throughout the day. This was absolutely, hands down beyond whimsical and amazing. I adored this ride so much, I haven't gotten that giddy in awhile. Super cute, fun and spooky! Absolute perfection. It also was a fantastic way to cool down without getting soaked today.
