Spent this past Tuesday evening at MNSSHP at Magic Kingdom.
Here's a quick review...
POSITIVES
Lines for rides, other than Seven Dwarves Mine Train, were non existent. There are no fastpasses for this event because they're not needed. Seven Dwarves had a posted 45 minute wait but I was able to ride in 25 minutes.
• Peter Pan - 5 minute posted standby but ride was a walk-on.
• Haunted Mansion - 20 minute standby but got on in 5 minutes.
• Splash and Big Thunder - 5 minute posted standby for each but both were walk-ons and rode each of them twice.
• Space Mountain - 20 minute posted wait but got on in 10 minutes.
• Pirates - 20 minute posted standby but got on in 5 minutes.
• Small World - no line all night long.
• Tomorrowland Speedway - 5 - 10 minute standby all night.
• People Mover - 5 minute standby all night.
• Dumbo, Aladdin Magic Carpets and The Teacups - 10-20 minutes standby all night.
• Boo-to-You Parade was fantastic.
• Fireworks show was amazing. The best I've ever seen done at MK.
• Trick-or-Treating is the best. You get a ton of candy as you can hit up each station more than once.
NEGATIVES
• Many of the quick and table service food places close early. Cosmic Rays, The Lunching Pad and Gaston's Tavern were open all night. Columbia Harbour House is open for the crowds to use the restrooms. It was difficult trying to find a bottle of soda around the Liberty Square area because practically everything was closed.
Note - Carousel of Progress, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Barnstormer were closed all night because their queues were used as Trick or Treat stations. And everyone can participate so bring a big Trick or Treat bag if you plan on going. The ones they give you in the park are tiny. I was able to accumulate almost 10 lbs of candy. They also have allergy-free candy options. Also, if you want to watch the parade, get a place to watch 10 minutes before it starts so you can see the Headless Horseman. He's the pre-parade entertainment.
