Cedar Point is selling pieces of Mavericks heartline roll, in park only on this Saturday, October 12th. Prices are $299-$349

I'd consider buying one if I was able to ride it with the heartline but Sandor killed that idea after his test rides!

I wonder if they're gonna sell Zamperla's Top Crap 2's cracked bogies?

My initial thought is so long as Zamperla isn't involved, I'm good with it.

Maverick is already my #1 out of 372, this would just further solidify that.

That said, I am of course skeptical of anything that is first reported by professional YouTubers.

If this happens, hopefully they will take the opportunity to fix the dispatch interval issues the ride has. (See ElToroRyan's Problematic Rollercoaster video on Maverick.) If this happens, hopefully it will start a trend of improving existing rides and break the trend of boardrooms assuming such improvments have little return on investment. If Intamin is doing this, hopefully they are doing it a a good price, they kind of need to make up for this year's issues.

This is an insane rumor, but, honestly, if the ride is approaching the need for a retrack, it does just also seem like a good choice. Incredible way to make the expense hugely marketable.

ElToroRyan has a great track record as far as I know so I'm definitely inclined to believe this is a real proposal internally.

Oh, for sure. Probably an actual heartline roll vs the inline twist that the original really was.

It's possible to get some gap to enable proper airtime with the current trains, at least for my body. I wouldn't want them to potentially mess that up.

Let’s talk when they get better restraints.

This was my top ranked coaster until ride to happiness displaced it this fall, and that one little dead spot is part of the reason why. Adding a modern version of that element would make this layout damn near perfect

As someone who rode it with the old, hard restraints… the current ones are fine.
