International Street is the place to be this summer, as we’ve recently announced our Grand Carnivale celebration, along with updates made to the Eiffel Tower and surrounding area. We have yet another reason to be populating this iconic area during the 2019 season, as we present Lumina - our all new night time light spectacular!

Experience International Street like never before with vibrant lights illuminating the fountain, surrounding buildings, trees, and our 315 ft. Eiffel Tower. Once the sun sets each evening, the area comes to life with a vibrant light show that can only be found at Kings Dominion. The Dazzling display will begin at 8:30 PM and run until park close.

So when your day of thrills has come to an end, make your way to International Street this summer to take in the brilliant light show that is Lumina. Grab a bite to eat, find a spot, and enjoy the show- it will only be taking place select days starting Memorial weekend.

Question for the Forum.

With the Grand Carnivale Parade running now does the Lumina show run too?

My family will be in Richmond while my wife does some work training Wed-Fri and we will be coming to KD on Tuesday. Just trying to plan our day as we will probably only be at KD for one day.

Off Topic alert: Other than Maymont any other good 1/2 day trips for two kids who are 4 and 5 while the wife is in training? Feel free to PM those answers to keep from bogging down the Forum.

Nope, Lumina will return on July 8. All of International Street is being used for Grand Carnivale even beyond just the parade until then.
