I'll start it off with construction pictures.

The snow shot is amazing. Is that the highest res you have? It would make a great wallpaper.

I found that image while roaming around online. I have one in the snow of the Big Bad Wolf too - just the sign, not the ride. It may be an official photo from the park.. again, I am not sure. This is as big as I have. I know, it would have made a great wallpaper.

I have OFTEN written to the park with the idea of having a "History" DVD, complete with construction photos of the park, rides that have come and gone, a music section, and desktop wallpaper and themes for your computer. Never heard back from BG... not surprised.

More from Saturday. Also anyone know why the rails on Nessie are white?

I asked someone at Griffon and they said that it is getting a complete re-paint (so far it looks a lot better).

Chris, those photos are awesome! Where did you find them?

I got them off an old Arrow Dynamics brochure that I found online, which is why they're so small. I wish they were a little bigger, but they're the only ones I've seen of the construction, so, needless to say, I was excited when I came across them.

Does anyone have video or photos of the effects that used to be in Nessie's tunnel. I've never seen them, but I've read much about them and have voted on the poll to have them reinstated.

I have seen one photo of the Loch Ness Monster head that was at the very end of the tunnel. I seriously doubt the effects would be reinstated as I am sure water/ fog and steel do not mix. I imagine that inside the cave is not all that pretty.. being that the structure is made out of rebar and concrete. The park would have to redo the inside to make it more "waterproof"; but still, the fog and creepy green lights that pulse and glow with the sound effect of a growling beast inside would be a dream come true. Let us hope that one day, this may happen.

Anyone else hoping that the white lights shinning up on the loops at night are changed to the LED lights like on Griffon and also changed to yellow or green? How sweet would that be?

Thanks for the link, Mike. I have to say though, after all the hype I'm kind of underwhelmed. I guess you have to be there to really get the full experience.
