Apparently, a lightning strike on Friday night is the cause for Gwazi to be down since that point. Ride attendants I spoke with today confirmed a lightning strike, and said they are awaiting a part to make repairs, which may occur as early as tomorrow (Tuesday, August 6th 2013).
No work was going on that I could see, and the attendants didn't elaborate on where the strike occurred or what specifically was damaged.
