We almost had a 3rd massive theme park in 75. It would have had a 3 train racer...

The original Lakeside looked cool for a small park. They had a woodie called Shooting Star. When the coaster opened in '68 it was billed as the fastest and largest in the US. It closed in '86.

I have fond memories of going there as a kid. Was a nice little park.
