Lakemont Park selling off its rides?

So it has been reported today in the Historical Amusment Park Rides Roup On Facebook that Lakemont Park is selling off most of their flat rides as part of 2017-2018 IAAPA Liquidation Sale.

The denizens of Facebook are suggesting that the park is closing, I can't find any proof of that, but I thought someone here might know something.

This has been offered up so it seems that they are doing major upgrades.

I hardly think that replacing classic flat rides with bating cages can be considered major upgrades, but what do I know?

Lakemont Park is coming back this year. They just released their price options for the 2019 season along with a list of available rides in individual price options:

I don't know about yous, but these prices are an amazing deal for anyone who is gonna be in the area (or on the way to Kennywood). They even have a minor league ballpark on the other side of the Skyliner.

Lakemont Park (after 3 straight days of rain delays) finally held their official reopening ceremonies and ribbon cutting.

Skyliner and Leap the Dips are still not open yet but are expected to open this season.
