Since I know whoever is tweetin' with the KD account these days is reading this: I think we could do some really neat stuff together! If there's interest on the park's side, let us know! We have ideas!

Oh my it just dawned on me @Zachary is planning to make this really happen

Finally! After months of having to keep our mouths shut as Kings Dominion jumped through all their legal hoops and whatnot, we can finally talk about the next era in the history of The ParkFans Network.

As you all know, ParkFans has relied on donations for a very long time now in hopes that they'll begin covering the site bills. Well, sadly, up until now, that still hasn't happened. Anyway, after realizing that, as the site continues to grow and the chances of covering its bills with donations alone becomes less and less likely, a few months back we began looking at alternative ways to fund the site. We thought about selling PFN Season Passes for around $100 because, as I'm sure you'll all agree, ParkFans provides at least as much fun as Busch Gardens Williamsburg over the course of a year, but then we realized something: We're close personal friends with all the management at Kings Dominion and, well, we'd really hate to hurt their feelings.

After that realization, it was back to the drawing board. We tested out pre-roll video ads, Screamscape-esque pop-up ads, promotional deals with Go Karts Plus, and, at our lowest low, considered letting BlackBerry pay us to built a ParkFans Network app for BlackBerry 10. Fortunately, none of those things had to come to fruition. Why? Because PFN KD.

Kings Dominion came to us about a month ago offering to bring Evan on as KD marketing staff and to pay all of PFN's bills for the length of the promotional agreement (cannot be disclosed). The only publishable requirement of the agreement was that PFN staff talk about how much they love Kings Dominion as often as possible which, considering we all really do love Kings Dominion, doesn't affect our journalistic integrity in the slightest. Amazing how great that all worked out!

What does this mean for PFN? Not much really. You can still expect the same great coverage from the same people who have always provided it. That said, there will be a few visual tweaks here and there to promote our Kings Dominion fansite a bit more, but it's nothing major.

Assuming I'm not gagged by the incredibly thick NDA I signed for most of the details about the agreement, I'll be happy to answer any questions you all may have.

Well after that powerful performance to close out 2021their social media team seems to have dropped the wrong kinda ball to start off 2022

I wonder if that was a legit mistake by their social media person/team, or whatever social scheduling tool they use malfunctioned?

No idea but it lasted less then 10 minutes and people were still poking fun at them before they deleted it.

Wait when did KD get this new coaster?

Kings Dominion has turned progressive, to the point where they start stealing capital investments from overseas

While it's not Twitter or Instagram, I think it's really cool that Kings Dominion posted this on their YouTube:

More parks should release animations of their old roller coasters!

I posted this video last month in the Hyper Sonic Thread.
