When they announced it they said select attractions will be open So I assume that means several rides but probably not all.

After a year of year round operations at KD and several years of them at BGW I had forgotten the thrill of anticipation as opening day approaches. I will be there rain or shine Friday night for preview and will be solo if anyone wants to meet up.

Planning to attend as well. I've put on some weight over the winter unfortunately so not sure how long I stick around unless Timbers thinks I am good then I am open to marathons on that, 305, and Grizzly.

I'll be there myself after work. I'll never deny the opportunity for night rides on Inti..I mean..Project 305, Grizzly, Racer 75, Reptilian and Twisted Timbers, if they're open as it stated select rides will be open. Also curious to see if any work has been done on the 2025 wing and the go karts since that will possibly be leaving.

I did a pass holder preview on a Friday the first time we had season passes. Whatever I thought of the drive from Baltimore before that, driving there on Friday at that time is just utter madness. I'll never do it agin. Though this season I am doing other parks and didn't get any season passes, so it's just as well.

I will also be there Friday night rain or shine with a couple of friends. I’m actually hoping for a bit of rain once darkness falls; will make the amount of time that I will probably be spending at Grizzly with said friends even better. Looking forward to a fun night!

To you and everyone else who plan on riding Grizzly, please report back on how it's running. It got some off-season work done to it and has new controls and brakes. I also heard it had some track work done though I'm not sure how much and what areas got it.

More Grizzly track work??? Now I wish I had planned to get season passes. Will be anxiously waiting to hear if they've fixed the last third/half.

Something that really impressed me today was the amount of high-ups I saw out in the park all day. I saw Bridgette, the executive chef, and a handful of directors and high-level managers walking the park throughout the night. Bridgette was even standing by the exit after the park closed, in the cold as rain was starting to come down, asking people if they enjoyed their night.

There’s something about that type of boots-on-the-ground dedication of the park’s executive team that really makes the park — and its guests — feel cared for. Huge props.

Tonight was fantastic! Ended up with 12 rides on Grizzly(9 were night rides), 3 on Racer 75, 1 on Twisted Timbers, 1 on Apple Zapple(against my mercy), and 2 on Eagles. Couldn’t ask for a better night. Couple takeaways

1. Racer 75’s last valley before the turnaround that was notoriously rough got retracked and is now glass smooth.

2. Windseeker had to be evaced around 9:00 tonight. For the record, tonight was the first time it had ran since it last got evaced during Haunt.

3. Grizzly is running really good, still a bit rough in the last third but having that bite is tolerable IMO.

This is good to hear! I don't feel like I've ever seen a higher-up in a CF park come to think of it. Hershey all the time, there was a stretch at BGW that I bumped into Kevin every visit. But never CF.

Had a great night myself. Even though most rides were running one train, lines were very minimal and crowds weren't too bad. Saw a lot of things to be excited for this and next season. I'm glad to see KD getting the love it deserves, both from Cedar Fair and guests in general. For me I got 3 rides on Twisted Timbers, 2 on Project 305, 1 on Reptilian, 2 on Grizzly, 1 on Anaconda, 1 on Shenandoah Lumber Company and 1 on Dominator. Some things I wanted to share:

-I think the temporary Project 305 sign looks great. I wouldn't complain if they kept that.

-Delirium is still down :/

-Grizzly is definitely a lot better now with that hill to the last turnaround is retracked. I hope they finish the rest in the future

-Dogwood Grill still looks like nothing has replaced it. Kinda surprised with the Country Kitchen converted into the Prestige Lounge, only place to get food in Old VA are the Boardwalk Fries

-Even though it was closed, I saw the Eiffel Tower testing so I say its a positive sign of it opening soon.

This bothers me.
