Kings Dominion Octoberfest 2024

This might have flown under the radar with Haunt and Tricks & Treats taking the most attention at this point and time. But KD will also feature another Day Time event starting in late September, Octoberfest. Seems this will run concurrently with The Haunt schedule (Sat & Sun only from 09/21-11/03). I'm guessing hours will be noon-1pm to 6 or 7pm. Park Location ????

One of the best festivals I've seen at KD. It's in a great, visible location, lots of guests are participating, and there's a good amount of menu options, activities, and live entertainment. This event was definitely a good move to attempt to draw adults into the park before Haunt.

Is the event similar to BGW's Oktoberfest theming wise? (As in similar atmosphere, music, etc.)

It's much smaller-scale, but has a similar vibe. Think KD's Food & Wine Festival, just better executed. The decor was the only aspect of the F&W Fest that was a tad better.

People seemed super into the entertainment and the stein holding competition on Sunday!
