Oh my gosh, that looks SO much better than the old website. It looks so much cleaner, easier to navigate, and puts much greater emphasis on the graphics with far less wasted space along the borders of the page.

I hope they still tweak it a bit (the photo viewer on the landing page seems a bit too large, and maybe change the color scheme) but overall this site looks so much more professional and I think it will leave a much better impression on potential first-time visitors.

^Oh, its format is exactly identical to Cedar Point's website, which was rolled out a little over a month ago. I'm sure Cedar Point's was the test, and now with Kings Dominion getting the same overhaul we can probably expect all of the Cedar Fair parks to adopt the new website in the near future.

California's Great America and Carowinds has also rolled out the new site. I also wanted to point out that Cedar Point debuted a new logo with the new site, something that wasn't rolled out to KD, Caro, and CGA.

I'd love to see KD formally adopt the original logo as their official design. That logo looks so much classier and more elegant compared to the generic Cedar Fair logo, and they've been increasingly using it on in-park publications and merchandise lately. They wouldn't be the first to break from Cedar Fair's run-of-the-mill logos either- just look at Knott's.

Knott's gets a special exclusion since the park's name and logo are licenced from ConAgra Foods much like the Busch name is licenced from AB-InBev. I imagine Cedar Fair would have to go through ConAgra if they wanted to change the parks logo since the product on the supermarket shelves and the parks name are so closely associated.
