News Kanonen Watch: Sale to Lost Island Confirmed

According to CoasterForce, a small water park in Iowa named Lost Island has bought Kanonen, a compact, hydraulicly-launched, Intamin accelerator with three inversions, from Liseberg (Sweden). Looks like an incredible and daring addition that is sure to put Lost Island on the map!

I'm super curious to see how this project pans out. Surely this won't be the only dry ride the park has planned? Their current lineup is quite literally a full-featured water park, go karts, and mini golf. An Intamin accelerator looks mighty out of place in that roster!

Clearly this is all a big conspiracy by Cedar Fair. Cedar Fair paid Lost Island to act as sort of a shell company to buy Kanonen and have it refurbed and shipped to the states. Kanonen going to Dorney Park for 2019 confirmed! ?

Kanonen is one of my favorite Intamins. Great, compact ride. Glad we're getting it. But more importantly, what is Liseberg replacing it with????

It was "replaced" by helix in ride experience and the site is now occupied by Loki(delirium-like-thing) and Valkyria(dive coaster).
