I’m not sure which thread to go to being that I couldn’t find one for Jungle-X… but I was wondering how opening day of the area is for those who are there. What rides are open? Any changes?

Hadn't really noticed until this how big of an impact the themed trash cans have had. First thing I saw in that 2008 image was the big blue cedar fair graphic.
Totally agree. Such an under appreciated detail of Jungle X. They’re such a tiny detail, but you’d certainly notice if they weren’t there and the blue Cedar Fair graphic was. Really helps the immersion.

I’m sure this would cost tens of thousands of dollars, but I’d love the park to invest in themed trash can decals for the rest of its themed areas. Over the long term, it would be relatively inexpensive, and I think it would go a long way to help guests realize what themed area they’re in.

Pantherian looks so good looming over the lake!

The whole area would look so cluttered if Anaconda were still there. But now that the lake has room to breathe it contrasts the busyness of Rapterra's midway well. Definitely gaining confidence that a new dining hall akin to Canada's Wonderland's Lazy Bear Lodge will be placed near the lake within the next few years.

Edit: Posted this in another thread, but the circled area would be a great spot for a new restaurant/dining hall. Tear up some of that asphalt with it and have outdoor seating with firepits alongside the lake. Jungle Market Eatery is the most redundant restaurant in the park- they can repurpose that building for something else or remove it entirely.

When the park reopened this season, with Anaconda removed, most of the small trees and underbrush obscured views of the lake:

But this past week I noticed the park worked on removing all that growth - where just look at it now in comparison!

The view from the tables - where this in my opinion is now the most "naturally" scenic place to eat from in the park:

And the view from near Stunt Coaster:

I love how much well-deserved limelight Pantherian is getting now!
