Doesn’t look like anyone posts here anymore but i figured would be a good place to put my thoughts. I haven’t been here in 3 or 4 years
First thing…no trams and the crosswalks are closed so you literally have to walk the entire tram route. I mean WTF they can’t find two employees to run a tram?
Next up the fun card paper says i can go up to the kiosk and it will print a wallet sized card. Well I tried and it told me to go to guest services so that is a joke
Security was nice.. very in the background and not putting you through unneeded hassles like cedar fair
Guest services was very helpful. I found out they discontinued the kid height check armband. Seemed like that would save time for everyone but whatever
Decided to eat at the England restaurant…it was closed
Kept walking…smelled like a litter box and sewer. I guess nobody is cleaning up after the animals
Escape from Pompeii.. boats running but line is closed. No idea why, kept walking
Rode Apollos Chariot, Tempesto, and Pantheon. All great rides. I think the ride ops could be a bit faster but overall they are great. I really like pantheon, it’s a layout i haven’t ridden before and I really liked the transitions
Verbolten was good. The show building actually seemed ok to me. I know the curtains were removed but I didn’t notice. I did notice most of the pre show tvs were not working. Also wished they would use both stations as the line would be so much shorter
Festhaus…one little section open. Two cashiers. Way overpriced. $50 for essentially a snack. Also the gift shops in bgw… charging almost $8 for a drink bottle is insane
Darkcoaster had long lines all day but I think they did a good job with the ride and I enjoyed it
Aloengeist actually felt another to me than last time but I still probably won’t ride it again
Invadr…never riding this again. It was rough when it was new and now it’s way worse
Le Scoot. Fun log ride and the employees here were super friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs
Overall I’m just a bit shocked at how much charm is gone and how money grabbing they are. Not having trams is a bit inexcusable. But I will say I was impressed with how friendly all the employees were. Note also they seem to have a lot of foreign workers as there were several I could not understand due to their accents
Got two more days so looking forward to riding the rest
