The illuminights soundtrack is now available for purchase. It's located at select cash registers. The price is around $12 including tax (sorry, I forgot the actual price). It contains about 40 minutes of music including segments from each of performances at each county. The attached photos show the cover, inside and rear of the packaging.

Normally I would thank you and welcome you to the forums, but I see that LoveDoc already has that covered.

Anyway, I know what I'll be buying next time I'm there.

Thanks for the greetings.

I've been lurking for quite a while, and decided to join when i realised i something unique to post. The soundtrack is quite good. I had been asking park employees for the past month "why isn't there a cd of the music?". Not one could give me a good answer. It's good to see Blackstone incorporating new ideas.

A soundtrack of the general park music won't be coming in the near future for a myriad of reasons, but mainly because the rights to the "theme songs" used would require a substantial amount of fees that would probably not offset the printing of the CDs and booklets that come with it. There's been many repeated discussions over this (the latter of which can be found here - http://bgwfans.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=283&page=3, starting about halfway down the page).

As for Blackstone, the case of the Illuminights CD is not Blackstone-related at all. It's been planned for a long while already. :)

I like the CD as it's one of the first modern-day attempts by BGW to market their music. Is it worth what I paid - I'd hope it's worth a LOT more than I paid for it. No no, but really, it's a good CD and I think everybody who's a fan of the park should buy it.

So I just got the CD and i notcied it was the same music from during the fireworks and the YouTube illuminights videos!

Hey, on the cd under illuminights villiages are those the actual songs from the shows? is it the full songs if it is?

I noticed when i listened the clocktoberfest show audio that the sound effects had been lowerd in sound and the door effects had been removed

I asked during Howl O Scream for the CD's, but they removed them the day after the Illuminights ended. I wish there was a way to still purchase one. Why didnt it make ITUNES... lol

I would love to see Christmas Town and Howl O Screm CDs because there has to be some music that busch makes that's there own that they could sell!

I wish they would do a CD and/or DVD for Celtic Fyre. Busch Gardens Tampa did this for Katonga. I wonder if they would sell.

Sadly, I'm guessing that they didn't sell many copies of the Illuminights soundtrack. I wouldn't count on them making another. (I bought one though!)

I bought one to, although I never did get to see Illuminights once, I know the music!
