I had been waiting until the last week or so to take advantage of this offer. After checking the weather for the next few days, Thursday looked like the best night to do it. Plus, it being a Thursday, hopefully it would not be too crowded. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Here is a list of what goes on:
- Check in at approximately 8:45, get boat assignment (ours was blue).
- Board boats at 9:05.
- Leave port, stay seated until the trestle is cleared, get chips & drink.
- Circle the cove until showtime, drop anchor for fireworks.
- There are speakers out near the water so you can hear the music.
- 9:30 Fireworks!!
- Circle the cove until we are cleared to go under the trestle.
- The tour guide plays a park trivia game and Q&A.
- Boat docks and disembark at approximately 10:25.
*Make sure you use the potty before you get on the boat; especially if you have little kids.
