If You Could Remove One Ride...

There have been lots of questions about what your dream addition to the park would be, and sometimes that's fun to think about. Well I am posing the anti-question. If the park gave you the opportunity to remove any one attraction, what would you most like to see leave the park? No conversions or upgrades; just straight up eliminations.

I would take out Roman Rapids. In my opinion, it's the most humdrum of BGW's water rides, plus, it's taking up a lot of precious space. There's nothing unique about it, and the park could add something pretty exciting in it's spot.

What's yours?

I would say EitA, but then it would be huge waste of space with empty buildings, schedule Le Catapult for removal. I didn't ride it when it was in Oktoberfest, now it's out of the way, I'll likely never even see it again until I get on the train.

I'd remove the Forest of Fun. It's not that I'm against kiddie sections of parks. I just hate when parks theme attractions after media that was already a household name. (I especially hate Six Flags' Superhero theme licensing). I would want to see the Land of the Dragons become the key kiddie section again. Maybe move/expand it to the FoF area and/or rename/theme the existing attractions.

I will cry the day Roman Rapids is taken out. I worked that ride for 2 years and I actually believe its a great ride and isn't at all.

Right, In that case it would just be a removal. (But hypothetically if the park was mine, I would do what I stated above.)

Right, In that case it would just be a removal. (But hypothetically if the park was mine, I would do what I stated above.)

Why not? They took out Le Mans for a mediocre parking lot coaster, and that was a much bigger loss to me than Roman Rapids would be.

Wouldn't that be alot of work removing all those water pumps and and trying to make all the land leveled again and besides it's one of the most popular attractions

Yeah, it would be a good deal of work, but there's a large enough amount of land there for the park to add a small roller coaster, so in the long haul, it would probably be worth it. I'm not so sure it can be cited as one of the most popular attractions in the park. Plus, that point becomes moot if replaced with a bigger attraction that would generate more popularity.

Yeah that's true but hey alot of the smaller rides are gonna end up getting removed anyway to make way for better rides.

It's creepy how Franco and I almost always agree on everything. I second Roman Rapids. I hate EITA just as much as the next guy, what what are you going to do with that land? Not much. Roman Rapids, in my opinion, is just taking up space. For that matter, it's not even a good rapids ride.

I think that type of water ride is kind of a staple at theme parks, they draw lots of people. That being said, EitA.

The subject says "rides" but the question posed asks "attractions", so I'll pick an attraction.

I would remove the games between Dark Castle and the Fest House. I don't know what I'd put in there, but I never see many people playing them.

i would get rid of the Turkish Delight. There is NOTHING special about it, and, the themeing dosent even FIT the area. Worst part is that Turkish delights arn't even italian. They're both Greek AND Turkish.
