My son is FINALLY 42 inches! Only took almost 6 years. We went to the park yesterday at 6pm just so that he could jump on DarKastle. He was so proud of his wristband.

It's so awesome how rides you've been on a million times suddenly become new again.

After reading the OP and then visiting the park this evening, I was walking around reminiscing about all of the little kiddie rides that my baby used to love so much. She has given up most of them for more exciting things like the Battering Ram, Dark Castle, Nessie, etc. But tonight on the way out she wanted to ride the Little Clydesdales really bad. It was so sweet. Took me back a year or two. A giant man can shed a tear once every 5 years.
