Hubba doesn't' have a thread! Outraged member Connor makes in impact on the forums by making a thread for this five star attraction.

I found this picture from opening year and boy does it look spacious. I don't really see a point as to why they didn't have anything in the middle for a few years.

They had chairs in the interior area; you can see the ones in the center and right. There were also ones in the left which was the smoking section. This area was all free of charge and largely unpopulated. They added more chairs over time. Eventually it was made into an up-charge area with the cabanas and umbrella-shaded chairs.

I absolutely love Hubba Hubba Highway. I think I spend more time here than at any other attraction in the park when I visit with friends. It's just such a unique and creative attraction. It has so many surprises and things to play with, and it's swift and exciting the whole way. (Our favorite thing is to be swept along the sides to get blasted by the strong jets). The thematic elements, though definitely in need of some fresh paint, are clever and actually add to the ride experience. Oh, and there are never any lines. I'm sorry, I just love this ride.

Oh, and we're always those guys who try swimming backwards up the river. Since we are all competitive swimmers, we can actually make it pretty far but it sure is tiring!

Really, though, if you've never done Hubba Hubba, a few hours (yes, hours!) in there could serve you well. :)

I loooove Hubba Hubba Highway...but hate how the last 4 times I visit they close it early for "weather" even though there is nothing on radar and all the other rides remain open. Shouldn't it remain open until the park closes?

Not that I'm bitter or anything like that.

I never made it out to Water Country USA this year in the first time in 13 years of being a platinum pass member.

Floating on the lazy rider at KD really makes me appreciate Hubba. I remember back in 2003 when Hubba opened and seeing all the effects work. Sadly as with most themepark attractions, things break and sadly don't end up in the budget. How much of the ride would you stay still has working effects as of 2015?

Huba huba was cold this morning. But thankfully it warmed up. Isn't the water suppose to be heated? Do they ever use that feature?

I was under the impression that just indoor parks and pools were able to use heaters due to being able to control the room temperture from within the buildings as well.

All of the large (linked with a theme park), outdoor water parks I have ever been to, except KD, regulate the water temperature in their attractions. In fact, some have different temperatures for different areas.

I would imagine the water in the HHH was cold in the morning, because they hadn't been able to warm it all of the way back up after the rain and cooler night time temperatures Sunday night.

I had no idea that they did that it's cool info thanks.

Since when can you not float on your life jacket anymore? I was here today and had went nearly all the way around the river floating on it (as I have done for years), and one of the last lifeguards told me I had to wear it normally. I thought he was just being weird so the second I got out of his view I went right back to laying on it, then on my second trip around had a different lifeguard tell me I couldn't do it. Since when was this a rule? I used to see tons of other people do this all the time as well

Can't tell you when it started but it's been a rule for a long time.
