I hate to ask, but is it possible to put the music with the area of the park it's located in? c: I haven't been yet this year, and I'd like to know where these songs are at.

I would be SO forever grateful if you could possibly get the names of the songs that they play in the Festhaus. That's the best music in the park for HOW!

I know they play In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins, but I can never remember the other ones.

The only Oktoberfest songs I recognize are the ones they played last year. If anyone can find the names of the new songs, I'd be really grateful. Heres all I know so far.

Running up that Hill - Placebo
Cry Little Sister - Gerard McMann (or however the name was spelled)
Theme song from Charmed
Haunted - Evanescence
Psycho - Puddle of Mudd
Hey Miss Murder - AFI
Live and Let Die - Guns N Roses

Ireland's background music seems pretty unchanged. I know they played the soundtrack that played in Oktoberfest in 2011. I know there are a lot more tracks but this is all I remember/heard.

Working for the Weekend - Loverboy
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
White Wedding - Billy Idol
Hold on Loosely - .38 Special
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar

I know there's a song in Ireland that's not on your list, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is.

Part of me thinks its a Queen song. But, I think I'm confusing that part with waiting in line for 13 for so long, that my group made friends with the people around us, and thus started singing classic rock songs. (And I don't think it was Bohemian Rhapsody.)

The theme song from Charmed is really "How Soon is Now" by the Smiths from their Hatful of Hollow album. (Back then we bought these things called "albums").

It always amused me that Smiths songs ended up in car commercials and Aaron Spelling shows. Morrissey is so self-consciously angsty, selling out to the Man seems like the opposite of what he believes in. Maybe Marr likes the money?

Thanks netdvn! I like those songs, too! Although, I have to say they chose the worst Cry Little Sister cover ever!

Last year they played Obsession by Sky Ferreira. That was a great song for the atmosphere, but I didn't hear it this year. :-/

I had not heard that one. It is a good edgy one. They use to play the Nikki McKibbin version in Monster Stomp Revamped pre-show tunes (They used original snippets in the show). I think Aiden's version for the 2008 Lost Boys movie is decent.

Thanks BGW Family for the other artist's names.
We have never heard a female sing it and she does a decent job at it.
Aiden's version is good and closest to the original version.
Now I'm going to have this song stuck in my head all day but that's a good thing. :p
