Howl-O-Scream: Haunted House Agenda

This year I will only have one chance to visit HoS and I want to make the best of it. I want to avoid as much time standing in lines as possible, but I also want to do the haunted houses at night to get the full experience. I was wondering if anyone had a good haunted house agenda? What order should I visit the haunted houses so that I can go to each one, avoid the most time in line, and still not spoil anything by it not being dark enough? In previous years I have done the completely indoor ones first because the time of day doesn't really matter (except the Pompeii one used to be less scary during the day for kids). Would this approach be appropriate this year?

Get in line for 13 as they open the queue. The maze is inside so the fact it will still be partially light is irrelevant. All the mazes except for Fear Fair are indoors.

I would do 13, then deadline, then it should start getting dark, so get to fear fair and then whichever of the last two that you want.

So Bitten doesn't go outside at all? I know that they aren't doing the Bitten/Hunted duo like previous years, but I figured they would do that foggy cornfield thing. Is the Verbolten construction in the way, or something?

Oh good my plan might actually work. I was worried about getting the new houses done and was thinking this path (except switching Catacombs with Bitten.) would work.

ScoutN, I know I plan on it doing so. I plan on going to the Festhaus to eat dinner and watch the last showing of Fiends before howl-o-Scream starts, then head on over to 13 to get ready for that.

I agree. I went to HOS a few weekends ago. The line for 13 was 1.5 hours when we got in line at 6PM after Monster Stomp ended. I was glad I am going back in 2 weeks to experience the rest of the mazes.
