I'm a journalist working on a story about theme park competition, specifically the Six Flags-Cedar Fair merger and how it may violate antitrust in areas where the companies have competing parks - specifically SoCal, NorCal, Texas, the DMV (District/Maryland/Virginia) and the tristate area (Pennsylvania/New Jersey.) I want to hear from people in these areas about how they decide which park to go to, and which factors go into their decision:
1. Geography - How close is your home park? How far are you willing to travel?
2. Cost - How much would you be charged for a ticket and for the whole experience? Do you go where it's cheaper? Do you get a season pass when it's cheaper?
3. Overall Experience - Is it the rides that make you want to go? The ambience? Holiday nights?
