Holiwood Nights 2013

The flyer for Holiwood Nights is up. The event will be held May 31 and June 1, 2013.

Looks like they might be hinting some big announcement at the event. Maybe their long awaited steel coaster...?

Or another insane Proslide project for that incredible little water park of theirs. Sadly I can't make it to the event next year, since it's a 12 hour drive and its hard enough to allocate the budget from other, closer, and unvisited parks on my list. Within the next three years for sure.

They won't use a coaster event in May to announce a water slide for the following year. Their water park expansions are usually announced in September.

They are overdue for a new coaster. Voyage was announced early summer of 2005 so they may announce it at Holiwood Nights or throw some hints or clues out there.

This is what I am hoping for. I am considering a trip to SixFlags St. Louis, Holiday World, Silver Dollar City, and Worlds of Fun for next year, but if HW announces a new coaster for 2014 I think I will wait a year. More bang for my buck.

I'm pretty sure there will be a new coaster at the park in 2014. They put out a survey in June of last year asking what kind of "steel" coaster patrons would like to see installed there.
