Dark Ride
I really didn't want to like another Wizarding World because of JKR but I think it is the best of the three Wizarding Worlds with beautiful details everywhere you look. It really is some of Universal Creative's best work.

As someone who just got to ride it…
Battle at the Ministry is insanely awesome. It’s on par with Monsters Unchained in terms of experience. Easiest way to describe is if Tower of Terror and Spiderman had a baby. Had some surpsing pops of air, and had the aggressiveness of spiderman. Overall a great ride

I got two rides in on my two days at EU.

The first ride I waited 3 hours with a posted 135-150 min wait. It was definitely not worth the wait. The queue is impressive but if you're stuck there for hours, the amazing queue seems to wear itself very thin. The line basically never ends.

The second ride, I caught it during that lull between the morning rush and the evening rush and waited 90 mins with a posted 2 hour wait. It was much better that time.

I love how large this ride feels. Uni definitely took full advantage of the show building. Sometimes you feel like you're climbing up 5-10 stories at a given time. The drops aren't as intense as I expected, but there was 1 or 2 pretty good pops. The animatronics are very impressive, namely the death eater. Unfortunately I feel like the ride is rather screen heavy. I didn't really care too much for the story. I was just in it for a good time.

Its a great ride, just don't wait more than 2 hours for it.

The drops have been toned down due to the bizarre safety systems, correct? Anyone ridden it before and after the change?

Completely understandable. I do have to give universal serious props for managing to make a ride system that is pretty much guaranteed to have a lot of screens not be too screen heavy. They did a good job integrating physical sets with the screens and overall it left me impressed. I did get to ride it before they toned down the experience as the ride vehicle movements were causing a lot of faults if I’m remembering correctly. Prior to it being toned down it had more drop moments all of which were very good. I haven’t ridden it after the change but what I’ve heard is that it has had significantly less issues after the change. This ride is my #3 in the park, with Monsters Unchained at #1 and Stardust at #2.

I will have to give this ride another shot on another visit. It seems a lot of things aren't working/aren't turned on yet. And they clearly are not running it at full capacity, which leads to massive wait times. At the loading area, it was quite a wait between elevators which is odd as most Uni dark rides have nearly constant loading... just seems to me like they don't have every car running on the track yet. The ride story and effects are impressive tho, and it's certainly a great experience. I would just advise waiting until they offer express or not waiting more than 90 minutes.
