While no announcements has been made, Universal Studios Hollywood has been gearing up for another major season of fear with HHN 2024. Construction is underway at various locations around the park; with rumors of this years lineup having two exclusive IPs: a IP-Original based off of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and a IP continuation of the twisted mind of The Weeknd.

Maybe its just me, but the IPs don't really look that strong. Plus didn't they just do Texas Chainsaw or was that Orlando only? An IP original concept sounds really fun though. Maybe if it works out, we can see that come to Orlando.

I would be pretty stoked for a new Weeknd maze. Orlando's was awesome.

Insidious and Ghostbusters sound interesting. I loved Orlando's Ghostbusters maze a few years ago and the last 2 movies were solid entries.

IDK about Blumhouse in Hollywood, but if Orlando gets a Blumhouse maze, I'm skipping it outright. I don't think I've ever seen a Blumhouse maze I liked.

I might change my mind once more info comes out about them.

They’ve done Texas back in 2021 for both Orlando and Hollywood, but it seems this year Hollywood wanted to do something unique with the Texas brand. Blumhouse representation as a house seems mainly positioned and rumored to be primarily Insidious and no other IP at this point.

If things go as they are, the lineup for Hollywood seems to be (atleast in my opinion) a response to SFMM stepping up with trying to combat USH on bringing in notable IP. The Weeknd being rumored to be exclusively at Hollywood feels notable too.

AQP has been officially confirmed! Including both Parts 1 & 2, the house will include the first ever representation of ASL at the event.

Dead Exposure I recall was heralded as one of the most intense Orlando originals when it was made in 2008; and the idea of another Orlando house is enthralling to see for me! Excited to see where Murdy goes with this.

...

...Oh right! I am doing this here too! This will go on with all of the Hollywood announcements alongside the shared announcements to come.

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but is this going to have the lighting effects that made both of the Orlando Dead Exposures so great and memorable?

Edit- The creative director of the Hollywood event confirmed they were taking a different route with the lighting. Which makes me a little less excited to see the outcome but I will hold out hope that it will still be great.

With HNN releasing a modified V3 Spec Map; the biggest of the changes is the positioning of The Weeknd. Now speculated to be in Soundstage 12, it seems if things hold; The Weeknd will be in the most iconic soundstage currently on Universal Studios Hollywood's lot.

Universal Studios Hollywood has confirmed all of the scare zones for Universal Studios HOllywood this year. There is a total of 4:
  • Chainsaw Punkz
  • Skull Lordz
  • Murder of Crowz
  • Luchadores Monstruosos
Death Eaters are still rumored for HHN Hollywood (and Orlando).
