Some interesting info I never knew of the area can be found here.
I like how the little boat ride now in Land of the Dragons was meant to be like kids were piloting their own vessels on the Rhine, and that the ladybugs were supposed to be about the enchanted stories of fairies and ladybugs and such. And the now-dragon tree house that was then a gingerbread house. This sounds like a very well-done, fitting children's area, I guess things just needed freshening up, and they brought in the dragons
. Also, according to the article, it looks like they used to have a ride like this at the park, presumably to tie in to Le Mans? Who knew?
This is a little portion of history of the park of which I'm not very familiar, but you learn something new every day!

At one time the area had some fake trees with spooky faces on them, that were later used as props in Hunted.
Wrong, I distinctly remember some posting pictures of the admission tickets for the grand opening of the park and it had a price on it, not a very large price but still something.

Just hold out a little longer, I am sure that wiki page that was announced 10 years ago is almost done
