After it had been removed from the park's website, Holiday in the Park is listed as coming back for 2024!

This year's dates are November 24-January 1: https://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure/events

As we look forward to this year's event, I posted a look back at the park's first holiday celebration, Winter Lights which only ran in 2002 and 2003:

The map link on the webpage for this event has been activated, but it downloads the 2023 map (I almost lost it when I saw the Skyway on the attraction list when I first opened that!). Hopefully the event will be a little more expansive this season and have part of Dream Street and the Boardwalk open.

The website has been updated with the 2024 map (download link). It's nice to see Dream Street on there as well as Bugs Bunny National Park. 2 new shows have also been added on the midways. The entirety of the boardwalk will be closed off.

I wonder if The Flash would be part of the ride lineup if it opened as scheduled this year - Joy To The World would be a lot less serene if so!

Unfortunately, the Showcase Theatre will once again go unused. A few years ago, they re-did the Fright Fest show that was in there with a holiday theme, and I've been hoping for a repeat of that strategy ever since. It was a tremendous show and a perfect respite from the cold.

It goes without saying, but not having the Skyride on here is heartbreaking.

This map also shows "Great Adventure's" Holiday in the Park , I dont see a Six Flags logo on it.
