I'm not sure him leaving will affect the park experience, but I'm sure he'll make a nice sacrificial lamb for the investors.

I got a feeling that whoever they bring in.... Their main goal is to sell out. Or maybe Jim being booted was required to reach an agreement with someone?
They obviously don't have anyone in mind, because if they did they would be filling the position ASAP.

I think another thing to take away from the announcement is Layoffs: coming to a park near you soon.
I'm sure layoffs will happen, but that's not what we, as guests, should be worried about. We should be worried about the cost cutting measures. Single train operation on coasters, anyone?

Yes, maintainence is the issue. KD does the same thing on show days. We've seen other rides reduce capacity because of budget as well.

But i'm more worried about the possibility of having fewer gates open. The parking gate lines already suck, and then main entry can get extremely backed up as well. Imagine them now cutting back on employees in those places as well.... Or even only running one tram....
All those along with reduced food service and cleaning crew are possibilities, if we haven't seen them already. Which is why I said before that cutbacks are really rge worst thing to do for a theme park with ailing attendance.

Maybe SEAS will sell the orcas to a sushi restaurant, just to spite the Blackfishers. What have they got to lose?
