RE: Good Time Country Band (1981, 1986)

This thread has been tagged and approved. Thanks for hunting down the videos! :) I assume it's in the Canadian Palladian, right?

Thank you, too. It was indeed in the Canadian Palladian.

It has me wondering who might be the "biggest star" that has passed through BGW on the road to fame.

I thought Dean Shawstack sounded familiar but realized I was thinking of Dean Shostak. Thought maybe they might be the same and the name was just spelled wrong, but I don't see any record of him being a drum guy.

I think we can all agree that Fabio was, is, and will always be Busch Garden's biggest celebrity visitor or employee.

Wrong.

The biggest name tied to the park will always be Hollywood legend and icon Vincent Price.  He not only promoted Big Bad Wolf's grand opening but also did the voice overs for the park's TV commercials for many years.   D-Lister Fabio doesn't even come close to Vincent Price's accomplishments which include starring in over 100 films and many stage, radio and TV productions.

Price was also a self-proclaimed amusement park and roller coaster fanatic.

Lol, well, yes of course. But Fabio being a loser is funny.

Edit: That was harsh, Fabio is a perfectly decent human being. But, lol, fuckin Fabio.

No it wasn't. LOL

I was actually pondering what performers or employees "got their start" there while NOT already being "famous". Such as Victor. Plenty of famous people have been associated with, or visited, the park.

That article has been noted HERE and HERE. I like that article a lot. It shows how beloved DeHart was against the torture that was SG. Thanks for the reminder of good times and some other notables that have passed through.
