Doors open at 4:00 PM, rides 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Party on International Street with DJ Keith from 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM.

This event benefits Brother, Help Thyself, an organization that provides financial and other support to non-profit organizations serving the GLBTQ and HIV/AIDS community in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. Metro area.

Thanks for creating a thread, Jonquil! I have been multiple times and always had a great time. The dance party from 10 PM to 1 AM is very good with a DJ and impressive lighting. It's a good value, helps the community, and I find it refreshing people without a pride pass are asked to leave the park at 8 PM. Increasingly I notice a growing group of gay-friendly family and friends attending and enjoying the short lines and fun.

In 2012 with the Knight Hawks of Virginia I chartered a party bus with TV and video from Norfolk. About 50 people rode the bus and we basically broke even. In 2013 word spread and people were asking for the bus, but it didn't happen. This year the treasury was too low after a summer cruise on the Elizabeth River. Maybe for 2015 we will have enough interest to charter another bus from Hampton Roads.
