Sundays are not as bad as saturdays in terms of crowd levels. Twisted usually has the longest line followed by either flight of dominator. The park opens at 11 but the parking lot starts letting people in at 10 and the front gate at 10:30. Between 10:30 and 11, international street opens up and if dominator finishes it’s opening stuff, you can ride it before park open. On weekends the Eiffel Tower is open and the only thing closed is Avalanche. Looking at the forecast, there’s a small chance of thunderstorms so that might keep some people away. Overall it shouldn’t be as crowded as Busch on Saturday.

While at the park tonight, and talking to a supervisor, they let slip that the park is expecting a crowd of 25k tomorrow (Saturday, July 31).

On any given normal year, 25k would be a sizable number. But in a pandemic year, that is just plain crazy (if you ask me).

For KD's sake though, I do hope they reach that number. But I know that I'll be avoiding the park Saturday 😉... waiting to go back Sunday, at the earliest, for what will likely be slightly reduced crowds.

Well I was dumb enough to go on Saturday and when I left around 5:30 I would say 25000 was met. We got there right at 12 and it was light then so I would encourage anyone going on a Saturday to get their as soon as they opened. When I say light, we rode TT five times in a row

Alright what can we expect from the park today honestly? It's supposed to be absolutely beautiful today and I want to swing in this afternoon. My guess would be: TT, FOF, Tumbili, and Dominator = LONG lines but I figured if anyone else had experience with March Saturdays.

Pre Covid spring weekends were never too busy at KD. Nothing like summer or fall at least. Hard to say how it will be this year.

I plan to be there on Sunday and the weather is supposed to range from the high 40s to the high 50s. Just wanted to see if they close any of the kiddie rides or TT or i305 for cold weather (those are the only ones I can about)

KD used 40 as the limit for coasters for Winterfest so I would assume that there will likely be so late openings but would expect everything to open.

Assuming there are no other serious weather conditions, temperatures in the 40s and 50s should be fine.

What have the crowds been like this weekend? I’m planning on going tomorrow and want to how much Memorial Day will affect things.

Heads up the ACE event for Saturday has been postponed in my experience this only happens if the park is considering limiting their day so I would be on the look out for an announcement of either a closing or limit operation for Saturday.

I suspect this correlates with the tropical storm expected to hit this weekend.
