Isn't Stealth @ Thorpe park technically the fastest now? Maxx force is second. It's only by like a fraction of a second though

No, maxx while it’s a lower top speed takes less time to reach it. Additionally stealth’s accel. Stat is kinda bullshit imo, this pov is from last year and stealth doesn’t hit the catch car brakes till 2.25 seconds into the launch where the launch stops speeding up

Eejanaika is my brother’s #1, and he’s moving to Japan in a few weeks. He’s understandably a bit upset that he won’t be able to hit it just yet, but of course more upset that a man was killed, especially by an incident that has already occurred once before in 2007 (the first guy did survive, albeit with serious injuries).

Closure extended through April. Knowing how Japan, especially Fuji-Q, is with safety in parks, I think it’s gonna be a while if it does reopen. I’m kinda hoping having just lost Do-dodonpa (granted, after 3 years SBNO) makes them want to do whatever they can to reopen Eejanaika.
According to my brother Eejanaika reopens tomorrow. Haven’t found a news source, but RCDB no longer lists it as SBNO and I know my brother wouldn’t say something without validating it lol

This has to be a translation error, right? They're saying there was NO lockout system prior to this accident? Japan is normally pretty strict on safety I thought, they really allowed a coaster that didn't have a LO/TO system? I'm surprised S&S and their insurance company didn't require one too, assuming this isn't just a bad translation.
Not sure if this is a bad translation. It is directly from the park's website, and not via Google Translate. Seems pretty obvious to me that you would have a lockout system in place. Perhaps a question for S&S?
Confirmed with my brother, this is not a bad translation and it did not have LO/TO. That’s extra fucked up in my eyes considering this exact incident has happened before.
