This might be better suited to events as it's starting to become an annual thing, but free beer days are back for 2020:

June 19-August 11. (It was advertised to start on June 28th last year, but I recall them ultimately starting it sooner):

Those cups are not the size of the free beer i got last season. Still free is free
They aren't. I'm sure they will use the smaller cups for the free beer again. This was most likely just a picture they already had.

Because since memberships were created the park has been adding new benefits for members and not extending them to passholders. This was in an effort to encourage legacy passholders to upgrade. Things like this undermine that

Orlando fl.
Members already get a whole list of monthly perks that pass holders don't. The free beer offer was available to members and pass holders last year as well, and theoretically, if SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa give all their guests 21 and over free beer(not confirmed for this year yet), having it only for members and pass holders in Williamsburg is already a setback.

Yes and it shouldn't have been given to passholders last year. It should be an additional member benefit. If you want to encourage legacy passholders that they should get rid of their pass and upgrade to membership then they can't be adding a new perk and giving it to everyone

The two parks in Florida have different ABC laws that allow them to give out free beer to anyone. VA is much stricter which is why they can only give it to members and passholders.

It definitely shouldn't.

More on this.

Someone pointed out last year that by excluding passholders they were inadvertently excluding military members on the annual pass they offer to military.

The wording this year allows these servicemen and women to get a free beer.

May not be the full story behind why it's worded this way; but at least if I justify it this way; I can get behind it.

I thought the Military annual pass excluded all discounts and benefits except free parking. I just wonder how many people are going to assume that they aren’t eligible for the free beer because BGW can’t be consistent

Last I checked you are correct. The military pass is just good for admission and parking
