First Visit Planning

Hey all,

Taking my first ever visit to SFNE this Sunday (along with Lake Compounce and Quassy on Saturday).

Anything important to know from those who have gone? I know the parking lot is like stupid far from the gate, the food is Six Flags food etc.

I guess the main question I am curious about, Supermans restraints and verify position. I believe I've heard these are brutal but I've found lap bars that are focused on your thighs don't tend to impact me being a taller guest. My problems usually come from my height, broad shoulders, and chest. (*stares angrily at B&M hard OTSRs and the 4th-5th row hell I live in*). Does anyone know from experience if that one is as bad as RMCs or worse? I don't usually have issues with RMCs at all except the odd Timbers seat where it's sensor is unusually stingy and I have to be stapled the crap out of.

Thanks to all for any useful notes or tidbits to maximize a SFNE visit on food or other tips like crowd flow throughout a Sunday.

Really looking forward to Boulder Dash, Wicked Cyclone, Superman, and Wooden Warrior.

Not much notable for SFNE to be honest. When you do Compounce/Quassy where are you staying? That’s where I’m from and could have come recommendations based on location/ desires.

Get Superman and Wicked Cyclone done first and even Thunderbolt (has one train and at front of the park). After that you should be fine. If you haven’t done a Houdinis Great Escape ride yet give it a shot as it’s super fun.

Ride the crap out of Boulder dash. Your first and last rides in the back row. Even if on one train the line usually moves fast. If you don’t care too much about shitty credit 1000% skip out on Wildcat and get another ride on Boulder Dash. Boulder Dash is my #1 and if you have the chance to get a dark ride or a rain ride on it go for it.

Nothing for Quasy. Even if busy you should be fine to be in and out in 2-3 hours.

Boo for skipping wildcat. That was my second ever credit and I’ll cry if it ever goes.

Have you been on it lately? It was okay before the refurb and ever since it rides so awful. If you ride the front row you can see how the track has gaps between some segments and the train just crashes over them and every inch of your body feels it lol

They never said what it was but Boulder Dash got Titan Track on the drop.

They don't (didn't) allow rerides so there's no real point getting to Dark Knight, etc. while they're sending out half empty trains, even if Superman opens late.
