Let's Christen this new forum with a proper thread. What's your favorite local museum to visit on a regular basis.

Mine are the Virginia Living Museum and Virginia Aquarium.

I live In Virginia Beach at the oceanfront so I go to the Virginia Marine Science Museum. I live In the neighborhood right across the inlet (large body of water that is connected to the sea) beside the aquarium. I love this place it has a lot of Interactive exhibits. They have a really cool 3D cinema too. So those of you who haven't been here yet then you should make it a priority it is great for the kids too.

I thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Mariner's Museum in Newport News I took a while ago. The intricate ship models were absolutely incredible.
I usually make it up to the Smithsonian once or twice a summer as well.
