Hi All,

My first post here and would just like to thank the creators of this forum for their efforts.

My family and I moved to the Hampton Roads area from Atlantic City, NJ last January and this was our first year going to Busch Gardens. We live in Surry, across the river from Jamestown (via the ferry). We got season passes at the beginning of the year and visited the park approximately twice a week for the whole season.

Well today we put a contract in on a house exactly .2 miles from Colonial Williamsburg and 5.3 miles from Busch Gardens!!! We are completely excited about our pending move and can't wait until next season when we'll be able to hit the park almost daily:).

Anyway, just wanted to share our good news with some people who I know would appreciate it. Hopefully we'll eventually all run into one another at the park one day (we need some BGWFans baseball hats or something so we can spot one another:) My family and I will be at Christmas Town on the 27th.

Welcome to the BGWFans Forums, Shafor! Glad to hear the news (you have me beat for distance- I'm 13 miles away from BGW).

BTW, do you have a Twitter?

I'm following you. Make sure you follow @bgwfans (if you aren't already) and ask to be added to his list of people in the forums. You might also want to add your Twitter to your Profile.

AandA8104 , no need to be jealous; I love North Carolina. I went to the Mount Olive Pickle Drop last year and that was a hoot!

And I must say WELCOME Shafor!! You have found a home amongst Busch Gardens and Coaster Fans alike! :D

I've always wanted to go to that, but usually end up having a party instead.

Went over to the new house this weekend and drove back and forth between the driveway and the entrance to BG. Longest time clocked was 9 minutes. Got there or back in just over 7 mins a few times. We can't wait! :)

Awww congratulations on the new home!!!!

And yay for NC!!!! I live in Raleigh. I LOVE North Carolina!!!! Woooooo!!!!!!
