I just had a thought,

This area is a large space. Why not use it for a permanent indoor Animal Exhibit. It's a large space if you take into account there are two theaters. Knock down some walls between the two. Change your theme and animals up for events. Creepy stuff for Hallowscream and cold weather animals for Christmas Town. Maybe give the Penguins a really large habitat on a permanent basis. Offer A good mix of animals for regular season.

With the building being climate controlled has a lot of potential to increase the Animal Exhibits offered.

I know the space is used for 13 but seems like a better use of the space unless A kick butt simulator comes sometime soon. Why have all that space wasted for just one Hallowscream Maze for that short time span. Not worth it IMO.

Maybe theme it to an Irish Animal Preserve or Zoo.

Create an Irish feel to the interior but not limit it to strictly Irish Animals that way you could accomodate varying animals on display. Take the tack of this is the only place in Ireland to see "insert animal name here" on display.

That's all I can think of.

An extensive theme could pull this off but done halfway would be terribly cheesy and disrespectful to the architecture outside of this space.

Maybe they could do a "Killarney Museum" with real artifacts and exhibits from Ireland that is open year round (except for HOS of course). I would do it, only if it is free! :)

To add to this, If the two flats were unique and themed very well this is an excellent idea. Only thing is how to manage two lines. Maybe one line for both rides, Ride Flat #1 then go to a 2nd smaller line for the second flat with an option somewhere to access just the 2nd Que if you didn't want to do both rides.

Just my thoughts.

And chaos ensues.

Perhaps it is just me, but my impression is that most people are complete idiots when it comes to queuing. Neither Volcano nor Verbolten would be half as frustrating, if people knew how to get in lines without blocking everyone behind them (or really find a line and move to it to begin with). I’ve actually been yelled at by someone standing in line for a middle car, when I was simply trying to get past him to get to the line for the back car. Apparently I was supposed to wait in line behind him.

Sorry rant over. Stupid annoys the crap out of me…

^They do it pretty well at Hershey Park. They have an employee at the turnstile tha lets a couple people in every couple minutes or so, so that the lines don't get too busy and it keeps th line in a constant pace. ;)

I was thinking that entrance queue can be separate by a railing or chain, you enter the line for either one you want. They can be like dueling flat rides or something :p Or just themed to go together, then have the exit be the quick queue.

Busch Gardens does the same thing. The only difference, is that sometimes I've seen the employees at Hersheypark start to sound very aggressive. That hardly goes well over there. It definitely would not go well here in Virginia, at Busch Gardens of all places. Sadly, it's in the hands of the employees to direct these people who don't know what they're doing, and they can only do but so much.
