Looks like this ride won’t be opening on time. Some severe storms producing hurricane force winds moved through the area a couple weeks ago and toppled about three sections of the coaster.

I told my friend last night that this incident has BGT sweating a bit! LOL
I have to think that this is more due to the fact that it's currently in progress and that if completed it would have been sturdier. Plus I'm sure that when designing the coaster having winds like that was probably not something that they planned for.
One good thing for BGT if this is delayed then they get to market RMC Gwazi as the world's tallest hybrid instead of just North America's tallest.

I doubt Zadra will be delayed that heavily. The structure that collapsed was only part of the supports that were already being put up, and within 2 days they already cleared out the mess and started building again.
Plus if we're going by deadlines, this coaster was supposed to open a few days ago if Energylandia got what they wanted

Itslike building a house, when your in the middle of rough framing its not very strong...but when finished is.
Looks like they've recovered nicely. (via @coasterclub Twitter)
