DOSWELL, VA. — As Kings Dominion wraps up a fun 40th Celebration season, for the first time ever, the park will host an End of Summer Music Festival during Labor Day weekend. The festival features different genres of music each day during the four day weekend.
Kicking off the fun, pop star Jason Derulo takes the stage. Derulo will perform at the Kingswood Amphitheatre on Friday, August 29th, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are still available through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling the park. Guests can visit Kings Dominion and see the concert for as low as $44.99. Season Pass Holders are eligible for discounts. Park admission is included in the ticket price.
The fun continues Saturday, August 30th, with Bluegrass Music Day on the Grove Stage. Three Bluegrass bands will rock the crowd from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The concert is free to park guests.
On Sunday, August 31st, they’re returning to their roots, Kings of Swing Back on the Bandstand! They’ll have guests swinging to music from the 1970’s through the 1990’s. Kings of Swing will perform three shows Sunday evening. The concert is free to park guests.
