I wonder what happened. They probably won't ever fully disclose. Maybe chlorine exposure if they had a chemical spill?

I'm secretly really hoping that we get some sort of confirmation that it was a non-lethal electrocution incident because I have some really electrifying puns to use for this thread's title...

Electrical experience here, it goes both ways. For EMT purposes it's a case by case thing but in most cases Electrocution is only used for Cause of Death and injury is described as "due to electric shock" or other similar wording.

Considering prior stories of electrical incidents at amusement and water parks from my experience, it might be a good thing multiple people were reported for injuries instead of one. Unless someone was directly implicated in this incident ala sticking a fork in an outlet.

In the article I pasted it sounded like something electrified the water in a shallow pool and people were getting shocks to the feet and ankles.
