The possibilities for show elements on the ride with this theme are endless, especially with the nighttime lighting packages that SeaWorld parks are known for. Electric Eel has a chance to redeem itself by not using flat paint theming like Tempesto.

When you look at SeaWorld parks aside from Orlando, you will find that the roller coasters tend to not be very unique. Instead, they are just filler. At least this has potential to be a "fancy filler" coaster.

I think that really can only be said about San Antonio and mainly about SWSA's coaster additions under BEC. The only other SeaWorld coaster added to the chain outside of Orlando since the birth of SEAS was Manta-West and they pulled out all the theming stops on that ride just as BGW did with Verbolten. No matter your opinion of Verbolten's theme, it is perhaps the most extensively themed coaster in the entire SEAS Chain.

I think the JetSki Rescue coaster going in to SWSA it going to have just as much theming as the Orlando coasters. I could be wrong, but I think the days of SEAS putting in coasters with completely exposed, open air ride platforms is long over.

I only meant the SeaWorld division of the chain, but I admit that wasn't thinking much into it. San Antonio has been an example of what I stated about lack of theming, but hopefully Wave Breaker will change that. San Diego (with the exception of their Manta) tends to be second to Orlando in theming.

Regardless, they need another coaster. Is this the best they could do? Probably not. But my point still stands about the need for another coaster and an opportunity for better theming.

Everyone should have their knees around their ears and feel extra safe with a special collar when riding an overpriced flat!
