So. Busch Gardens Dubai, shelved until the idea is "revisited in the summer". Is this gonna happen or what? And what sort of park would it be? Wiki seemed to suggest it'd be more of a Seaworld-esque park and not quite like Tampa or Williamsburg.

More importantly, when is the road trip to Dubai to scope the place out? Woooooo BGD or bust 2014!!!!

I don't think this is going to be happening for a while. It's hard to justify an investment of this size when the global economy is holding tourists back. Eventually people will begin traveling again, but this project was always strange to me. I've always thought Dubai is the biggest bubble in the world, money has just been pouring into projects seemingly endlessly.
