If you could design and have built one ride themed on a movie or a tv show, what would it be based upon and what would the ride be?

Friends Coaster - The Janis :: 250 foot tall hyper with insane air time and positive G's.

Community - It's just a flat circle because the Dean put all the money into absurd theming and forgot to design the coaster.

Bob's Burgers - Just make the damn coaster already!!!

How I Met Your Mother - A 3 lift coaster, where the start is awesome, the middle is the same thing over and over, and the end is intentionally potholed, and you get slapped in the face as you get off.

I got one, willy wonka and the chocolate factory its either be the 1971 or 2005 version but it still be a great idea, I mean, they got the boat ride & the great glass elevator ride that can translate real into a great ride, maybe a wonka candy shop as the ride exit gift shop

@harry580 I actually have to agree that a Wonka-themed attraction or area would be great. I could totally see a Universal park building an all-indoor Wonka’s factory themed area. The suggestion for a boat ride and great glass elevator ride is great too.

I’m actually surprised Wonka hasn’t had any major representation in a park yet. The merch sales on special candy alone could probably fund the whole project in no time.

And there’s always this beauty to draw attraction inspiration from.

A Star Wars trench run rollercoaster. Something fast and whippy.

I would want to make a Back to the Future roller coaster. It would have an insanely fast launch, fire effects near the launch track, quick turns, and a model town for the track to weave through and around. The crowning moment would be a top hat going over the clock tower.

Universal was supposedly working on a Wonka attraction and that was the genesis of the Toothsome restaurants.

I have a hunch that if Wicked is the huge hit it seems like it will be we'll see Universal adding it to their parks as a land.

An avatar rollercoaster would be really cool flying over the water and through the trees of pandora. Could do it at Disneyland with the new avatar land.

We need a Stranger Things coaster! Maybe an indoors Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster!

Full on ridiculous: 3 Ninja's shooting dark ride. (Don't know where that came from, but it was the first thing that popped into my head.)

A little less ridiculous: Metroid-themed shooting dark ride. Especially with Universal and Nintendo now working together.

(hearts for Metroid, not 3 ninjas 😛)

For me, it's Godzilla and Friends. One of the only franchises with huge recognition, and where the characters are the size of the attractions 🤪

or gumizilla and friends, with rides themed to gumi, kiwi, lemon & kohaku lol

in all seriousness, with chitty chitty bang bang getting a new film, I like to see a dark ride based on that movie and since universal released mgm movies (at least originally until mgm teamed with Warner bros) and chitty chitty bang bang main character is a inventor, I like to see that ride taking over the old fear factor live arena so its translate well from diagon alley all the way to world expo

Sci-fi geek response that is completely unreasonable do to being to little know and complex copywrite situation but the 90s scifi series Babylon 5. I would love a flying dark ride or 3d sim ride that put the rider through the wild space fight maneuvers seen on that show.
